STRYGULEC, Jerzy "Jerry" - age 92, of Fenton, died April 14, 2022. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 30, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Fenton, 860 N Leroy St, Fenton, MI 48430 with Pastor James Bell officiating. The family will receive friends 10 AM - 11 AM Saturday, April 30 at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fenton Center of Hope, 10401 Fenton Rd, Fenton, MI 48430 (www.fentoncenterofhope.org). Jerry was born July 13, 1929 in Czestochowa, Poland. He immigrated from Poland in the early 1950s only speaking one word of English to New York. Shortly after he met another Polish immigrant at a Polish dance and married Sophie Dalek on August 18, 1956. Together the built a successful life in the United States. Jerry retired from General Motors. Surviving are: son, Robert (Jennifer) Strygulec of Fenton; three grandchildren, Steven (Michaela) Strygulec of Springfield, MO, Sarah (Scott) Kern of Fenton, and Sophie (Austin) Adams of Fenton; great-grandchildren, Conrad, Hartlyn, and a new baby Kern due in June.
