SPENCE, Erma Eunice “Niece” - Of Grand Blanc, age 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, December 30, 2013.
Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Saturday, January 4, 2014
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Alan Duce officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Richfield Church of the Nazarene.
Visitation 2-4pm and 6-8pm Friday and 12:30pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Erma was born in Marston, Missouri on June 1, 1928 and was the daughter of David and Linda LaFerney. Erma, together with her husband, was a member of First Church of the Nazarene for 70 years. She was a living example of a wonderful Christian life. Erma was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by her husband and family.
Surviving are beloved husband of 66 years, Troy;
5 loving children, Gary and wife Diane, Troy and wife Dana, Linda and husband Brian Hoye, Lisa and husband Jim Macdonald and Janet Spence;
11 grandchildren;
several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
brothers, Bill LaFerney, David and wife Jackie LaFerney;
sisters, Joyce Hickman and Barbara Scheurman;
many nieces and nephews.
