MARTIN, Thomas Louis – of Burton, age 86, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors 1-3 PM Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Tom’s memory.
Tom was born in Oregon Township, MI on July 18, 1936, son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Bearinger) Martin. He retired from General Motors in 2003 after 28 years of service. Tom enjoyed bowling and playing Bingo.
Tom is survived by his 2 children, Tonya (Michael) Hamann and Michael Martin; 3 sisters, Samantha Decker, Alena Hedrick and Margaret (Ken) Tankersley; brother-in-law, Paul Hibbard; many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Margaret Martin; twin brother, Charles Martin and sister, Marcia Hibbard.
