ROBERTS, Fayetta L. – Of Flint, age 89, died Monday, November 16, 2020 at MediLodge of Montrose.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no service held.
Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association, Humane Society of Genesee County or American Cancer Society.
Fayetta was born in Risco, Missouri on January 4, 1931, the daughter of the late Harley and Cloa (Kem) Lasater and was a resident of the Flint area most of her life.
On June 30, 1950 she married Gene L. Roberts and he preceded her in death in 2003.
She volunteered, as a gray lady, for the American Red Cross and was active with the Girl Scouts. She enjoyed traveling, camping and vacationing in her cottage in Northern Michigan.
Mrs. Roberts was employed by Winkleman's and Smith Bridgeman's for many years.
Surviving are 3 children, Debra Goulet, Bethany Williams and Tamara (Guy) Bragg;
daughter-in-law, Billie Roberts;
grandchildren;
great-grandchildren;
sister, Carolyn Abernathy;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Allan Roberts; granddaughter, Stacey Beaird; 2 sisters, Lorene Taylor and Pauline Johnston; 2 brothers, Thomas Bennett and Luther Lasater.
