Helen Marie Dunn of Davison, age 81, died Wednesday August 25, 2021 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Thursday September 2, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant, with inurnment to follow at St. John Mausoleum. Family will receive visitors from 2-6 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and from 11 am Thursday until time of services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in Helen’s memory to St. John Cemetery Fund.
Helen was born in Flint Michigan on March 13, 1940 the daughter of the late Walter & Annabelle (Quigley) Griffin and has resided in Davison since 1998. She was joined in marriage to Kenneth Dunn on January 16, 1971. Helen was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of fifty years Ken. Her children: Christine (Ken) Mawhinney, Kimberly Cheek, Walter (Joanne) Gossett, Terri (Jamar) Lowe, Lisa (Las) Kappel, Kenny (Jodi) Dunn, Rebecca (Kevin) Smith, and Wendy (Kurt Woodyard) Aldridge. She also leaves her loving twenty-three grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, sister Rosemary Either, and a host of extended family. Helen is preceded in death by grandchildren; Brett Lindsay, Joshua Davis, and siblings Walter Griffin, Patricia Griffin, Isabelle Roberts, and Winifred Griffin.
