DAVIS, Billy Eugene– of Burton, MI, age 68, passed away on April 3, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 1PM Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Chris Radcliffe officiating. Interment will take place at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. The family will receive visitors from 12-2PM and 4-7PM on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, and at 11AM until the time of service on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Billy was born in Holcomb, MO on January 3, 1954, son of the late Harold and Betty Jo (Cook) Davis. He married Wendy Shunk on October 26, 1988. She preceded him in death on February 15, 2019. Billy was a graduate of Bentley Senior High School. He retired from welding at GM Flint Metal Fabrication. Billy was very outgoing and loved the outdoors. He would spend most of his free time fishing and hunting. Billy and Wendy spent a lot of time riding on his Harley Davidson, riding anywhere the road would take them. Billy will always be remembered for his caring personality and his wisdom.
Billy is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Poland; 2 grandsons, Ryan Raber and Greg Raber; 3 great-grandchildren, Aaidyn, Jaycen and Aubrie; many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wendy; parents, Harold and Betty Davis; brothers, Jimmy (Kathy) Davis, Patrick Davis and Joe Davis.
