HARRIS, Kenneth D. – of Flint, age 74, passed away July 9, 2014 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Monday, July 14, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-7 PM Sunday and 11 AM-12 PM Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Kenneth was born in Bloomfield, MO on March 8, 1940, son of the late Clemore and Jennie (Gibson) Harris. He married Diane Hamilton in Linden, MI on July 11, 1987. Kenneth was a past President for F.O.E. Aerie #629. He worked at G.M. retiring in January 1997.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Diane; children, Daniel (Jacqueline) Harris, Debra DiPillo, Michele (Terry) Gooslin; grandchildren, Jennie (Ryan), Emilie, Trevor, Dominica, Marlo, Kasie, Donald, John Paul; great-grandchild, Logan; brother, John (Shirley) Harris; sister-in-law, Betty Harris; many nieces; nephews; and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Glen, Derwood, Donald, Harold, Buford (Gurtie Gene).
