Robert S. Adams (Bob) born February 23, 1935, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by family. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10:30 am until time of service on Wednesday. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Pastor John Summers officiating. He was joined in marriage to the love of his life Dorothy F. Adams May 19, 1955. Bob was employed by General Motors for 35.5 years before retiring in 1990. He was an active member of New Haven Baptist Church for over 60 years and enjoyed helping and fixing things around the church. He loved hunting and fishing with family, working in his garden, doing yard work, and tinkering in the garage. Bob is survived by his children; Bob (Beth) Adams, Rick (Linda) Adams and Patty Davis all of Burton, 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren; and 3 brothers. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy, his father, mother, several brothers and sisters, and one great grandson (Blake R Adams).
