Grace Alta Coen of Elba Township age 82, died Tuesday December 26, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday January 3, 2018 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Eric Sayranian officiating. Burial in Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Grace’s memory to the charity of your choice.
Grace was born in Ypsilanti Michigan on May 28, 1935 the daughter of the late: Levert & Helen (Hale) Yohn and has resided in Elba Township the last forty years. Grace was joined in marriage to James “Jim” Coen on February 17, 1979 and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2004. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Davison. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Penny and husband Bill White and son Doug Traxler. She also leaves her five grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
