DORMIRE, Robert “Bob”– of Flint, age 63, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at McLaren - Flint. Cremation has taken place. Please join with the family in honoring Robert’s memory from 12 PM – 3 PM Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dormire family.
Robert was born in Flint, MI on November 15, 1957, son of Robert and Joyce Dormire. He married Patricia (Walsh) on February 13, 1992, in Flint, MI. His love of softball led him to meet his wife and friends. He touched so many people with his humor and his love of life. He played baseball and softball over the years, as well as coaching with Firestix and helping the Kearsley Softball Program. Robert (Bob, Bobby D, Dor, Reggie, Legend) loved his family and friends so much.
Robert is survived by his wife, Patti; daughters; Jennifer (Steve Mullins), Brianna (Johnny Crannie) and Kaitlin Dormire; granddaughter, Monroe; grandson to be, John Robert; in-laws; Robert and Norma Walsh, Dennis and Brenda Walsh, Jeff and Joanne Walsh, Suzy and Mike (Kidney Brother) Awe, nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Joyce Dormire, and sister, Cathy Baker.
The family would like to thank all the healthcare workers, family and friends that supported him throughout the years.
