Linda was born in Flint, Michigan, on July 20, 1948, the daughter of the late Glenn and Shirley (Shoultes) Driggett. She graduated from Davison High School in 1966, where she distinguished herself as an accomplished and enthusiastic athlete, excelling in speedball, basketball, and softball. She later attended Northern Michigan University before answering the call to serve her country. On June 23, 1977, Linda proudly joined the United States Air Force. During her distinguished 20-year military career, she rose to the rank of Technical Sergeant before retiring from active service. One of the many highlights of her time in the Air Force was her extensive international travel as a member of an inspection and training team, experiences that allowed her to see the world while serving her country with dedication and pride. Following her military retirement, Linda continued her career as the facilities manager at Braidwood Manor in Davison, where she was known for her commitment and dependability. Linda cherished the time she spent with her family and especially enjoyed gathering around the table for a lively game of euchre. She and her twin sister, Pam, made a formidable team and shared many laughs and memorable moments as partners. Her competitive spirit, sense of humor, and love for her family will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her siblings: Karen J. (John) Porter, twin sister, Pamela L. (Rick) Simons, Gerald G. (Diane) Driggett, and Jennifer L. (Gerald) Harrod; many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
