PALM, Lori Ann - Of Gaines, age 59, died Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Karmanos Cancer Institute.
Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, January 17, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 S. Ballenger, Flint, Reverend Dean Dumbrille officiating.
Burial in Lakeside Memorial Cemetery in Holly,MI.
Contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Visitation 4-7pm Saturday, January 15, 2022 and 1-5pm Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation at church 10am Monday for immediate family only until the time of the service at 11 a.m.
Lori was born in Dearborn, Michigan on April 6, 1962, the daughter of Walter and Peggy (Russell) Montney. On May 14, 1994, she married Timothy Palm at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lapeer. Lori obtained her Master Degree in Education from Eastern Michigan. She began her teaching career in the Lapeer school district and most recently was a teacher at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in Flint. She touched the lives of many students and fellow colleagues. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and also served as the Athletic Director for the school. Lori was selfless and would do anything for anyone. On warm summer days, you would find her in a fashionable sun hat, book in hand lounging by the pool. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with loved ones.
Surviving are husband, Tim;
children, Kellie (Michael George) Palm, Nicholas (Stefanny) Palm, Emily (Nathan) Tuttle and Alana (Gerald Link) Palm;
grandchildren, Eva Palm, Brecken George, Greyson George, Jackson Palm and Warren Palm;
parents, Walter and Peggy Montney;
siblings, Patricia (Kevin), Russell (Tracy) and Bradley (Susie).
