HOOS, Thomas A. – Of Burton, age 62, died Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Central Church of the Nazarene, G-1261 West Bristol Road, Flint
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 4- 8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Thomas was born in Flint, Michigan on January 5, 1958, the son of the late Thomas and Estelle (Jalbert) Hoos.
On January 10, 1987 he married Teresa in Flint.
He loved hockey, camping, fishing, spending time with family and friends.
Above all else he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Hoos was self-employed for over 20 years in lawn care.
Surviving are wife, Teresa;
daughter, Amanda (Douglas) Raymond;
grandchildren, Hunter, Ian, Connor, Isaiah, Jackson and Luke;
sisters, Yvonne Anderson and Gloria (William) Beardslee;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Hoos and brother-in-law, Timothy Anderson,
