MILLER, Patrick Roy – of Davison, MI, age 71, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, April 5, 2024 at Emmanuel Church, 6434 Richfield Road, Flint, MI 48506; Pastor John Scally officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Davison Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11-2 PM and 4-7 PM Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and one hour prior to the service at Emmanuel Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Church, in Patrick’s memory.
Patrick was born in Flint, MI on June 21, 1952, son of the late James and Joyce (Forsgren) Miller. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School Class of 1970. On February 25, 1977, Patrick married Diana Wood in Flint, MI. Patrick was a carpenter for Will H. Hall and Son’s for 33 years. Upon retirement Patrick's journey of service began in 2004 when he assumed the role of Davison Township Treasurer for 16 years. His passion for community welfare and his keen sense of responsibility endeared him to all who worked alongside him. On November 2, 2021, Patrick's dedication was recognized once again when he was elected Davison Township Clerk, a position he held with honor and distinction until his retirement on March 1, 2023. Throughout his tenure in public office, Patrick exemplified unwavering dedication to the betterment of Davison Township and its residents. His leadership was marked by integrity, transparency, and a steadfast commitment to fostering unity within the community. Patrick's impact extended far beyond his official duties, as he was known for his compassion, his willingness to lend a helping hand, and his genuine concern for the welfare of others. He was a member of Emmanuel Church in Flint, MI. Patrick enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and grandkids.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Diana Miller; children, Adam (Carly) Miller and Brandon (Sarah) Miller; grandchildren, Barrett, Aspen, Haven Miller, Chase Flood, Skyler and Taylor Miller; siblings, Jim (Rennell) Miller, Mark Miller and Dan (Peg) Miller; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
