BRISCOE, Ilene Blankenship - age 76, of Linden, died August 18, 2022 after a battle with cancer. Visitation will be held 2:30 PM - 5 PM Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, MI 48430. No formal funeral will be held. Burial will be held at 3 PM Monday, August 22, 2022 at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton, MI. Ilene was born January 21, 1946 in Lerose, KY, the daughter of Orville and Rosie Lee (Barrett) Elkins. She attended Hartland School and was employed by MIckey's Bar for 12 years, then Mail Box Plus for four years and later worked at Corunna Road Bar. Surviving are: daughter, Dana (Carl) Snavely of Fenton; three grandchildren, Christopher (Angela) Snavely, Joshua (Ashley) Snavely and Britni Snavely; seven great-grandchildren, Alex, Kaydance, Kirra, Trysten, Rylin and Reese Snavely, and Zane Kelly; brother, Ron Elkins. She was preceded in death by: her parents Orville and Rose Elkins; siblings, Cecil Elkins, Junior Elkins, Pauline Duke, and Eudella Jorgenson; and husband, Ronnie Blankenship in August 2007.
