BILLS, Marilyn June - Of Grand Blanc, age 86, died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Private graveside service will be held at Flint Memorial Park, Pastor Todd A. Biermann officiating. A memorial service will be held this summer.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Faith Lutheran Church.
Marilyn was born in Gaines, Michigan on January 14, 1936, the daughter of the late Lynn and Thelma (Jones) Curtis. She graduated from Mary Crapo High School. On May 3, 1958 Marilyn married William Bills and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2022. Marilyn was a member of Faith Lutheran Church since 1966, a member of the Antique Auto Club of America and a member of the UCT. During her childhood, Marilyn spent summers with her grandparents at their farm in Lapeer. Marilyn loved her cats, going to Las Vegas with the “Vegas Gals” and was a voracious reader.
Surviving are 3 children, Lori (David) Richiger, Staci (Ronald) Daenzer and Scott (Lorna) Bills;
grandchildren, Andrew Richiger, Megan (Anthony) Taylor, Emily Daenzer, Kaitlyn Daenzer, Alex Calderon, Logan Bills, Joshua Daenzer, Kylie Bills and Evan Bills;
great-granddaughter, Avery Rose Taylor;
brother, Michael (Candy) Curtis;
sisters-in-law, Jean Pemberton, Patricia Bills and Judy Garza;
longtime special friend, Merlene (Ted) Fuller;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Andrea Owens, and brother Robert Curtis.
