BECKMAN, H. Wayne – Of Tennessee, formerly of Flint, age 86, died Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Solaris Healthcare St. Cloud, FL.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Mr. David Beckman officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Harold was born in Flint, Michigan on May 5, 1935, the son of the late Harold and Evalyne (Hallam) Beckman.
On November 25, 1955 he married Patty Joyce Elder in Mt. Caramel, Illinois.
He enjoyed golf and other sports. Mr. Beckman attended every one of his children’s sporting games and coached most of them. He was very athletic.
Surviving are wife of 67 years, Patty Joyce;
children, Ron Beckman, Steve Beckman, Carol (Randy) Dicus, David (Trina) Beckman, Ken (Danielle) Beckman, Kevin (Debbrah) Beckman, Chris (Lisa) Beckman and Theresa Burnham;
20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;
3 great-great-grandchildren;
siblings, Keith, Garland, Marvin and Milford.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Lorraine, Charlotte and Ronald and 3 great-grandchildren.
