Mason, Harriette Joann - Age 91, of Flint, died July 27, 2023. Services will be held 1 PM Monday July 31 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc, Pastor Chad Bernard (her grandson) officiating. (Mrs. Mason's service may be viewed on her webpage at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com) Visitation will be held 2-6 PM Sunday July 30; and 12 PM until the time of the service at 1 PM on Monday July 31. Those desiring may make contributions to Gentiva Hospice, 4458 Oakbridge Drive, Suite D, Flint, MI 48532.
Harriette was born January 18, 1932 in Cicero, Indiana, the daughter of Harry and Vesta (Chapman) Wohlers. She married John Albert Mason on April 8, 1967 in Flint. She had worked for the IMA in Chevrolet and Buick for many years. She and her husband traveled all over the Unites States and Europe. She was an awesome wife, mom and grandma.
Harriette is survived by her husband, John; children, Glenn (Rozann) Bernard; daughter Jeanice Hall; daughter-in-law, Ronda Bernard; daughter-in-law, Judy Bernard; daughter Vicki Bell; daughter, Teri Mason; daughter Gail Miller; grandchildren, Chad (Melinda) Bernard, Michael (Cheryl) Bernard, Jerad (Michelle) Bernard, Rendle (Dawn) Bernard, Chad Hurd, VaDawn Bernard, Rob Bernard, James Hall, Tommy McHale; great-grandchildren, Ben, Aaron, Isaac, Adie, Britney, Courtney, Alexa, and Ciera; great-great-grandson, Chase; her dogs, Maggie and Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Richard Bernard and Bobby Bernard; and her siblings.
The family extends their sincere thanks to her caregivers, Natasha Libbey, Lisa Merrow, and Heather Adkinson.
