MOORE, Stephen George - Age- 67, of Swartz Creek, passed away after his long battle with cancer surrounded by his family and loved ones at his home, Monday, July 11, 2022. A Memorial Gathering will be held at 9393 Seymour Rd., Swartz Creek, MI. 48473, Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2:00pm. Cremation Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.
Steve was born January 28, 1955 in Detroit, the son of Clarence and Elsie (Nash) Moore. He graduated from Milford High School, where he excelled in football. Steve was employed as a Pipe Fitter and an Apprenticeship Coordinator at GM, and was a member of UAW local 1292 for 40 years. He was a member of the Michigan Harness Horsemen's Association. Steve raised Standardbred horses. He enjoyed playing hockey, softball, and bowling.
Stephen is survived by: his children, Trevor Moore, Brent (Meggan Freeland) Moore, and Carly (Chris) Johnson; granddaughter, Skylar Moore; his former spouse, Jill Moore- Jenkins; brother, Ian Moore; good friends, Roxy, and Cheryl.
