CUEVAS, Norma J. - Of Burton, Michigan, age 75, earned her wings and reunited with the love of her life, on February 17th, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.
Norma was born on August 7th 1946, in Pelham, South Carolina. Norma married her one true love, Candelario (Larry) Cuevas Jr. on October 21st 1963. Together they spent 58 wonderful years of marriage. Norma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, camping, cooking, and going to the casino. The love she had for her family was unconditional, as she loved selflessly.

2 great-grandchildren, Davon Cuevas and Xavier Wallen;

Norma was preceded in death by husband, Candelario (Larry) Cuevas Jr, daughter-in-law, Sandra Cuevas, granddaughter, Jessica Steede, great grandson, Montrice Jackson Jr(baby Trice), Father, Eddie Lee Nelson, Mother, Lola Mae Nelson, Brothers, Bobbie Nelson, Kenneth Nelson, Grady Wayne Nelson, Father-in-law, Candelario Cuevas Sr. Mother-in-law, Theresa Cuevas, brothers-in-law, David Cuevas, Viviano Cuevas Jr. and Sisters-in-law, Eva Cuevas and Laura Russell.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Visitation 4-8pm Monday and 11am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
