MOSSMAN, Mark Allen – of Davison, MI age 60, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020. Cremation has taken place. A Private Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Freedom Center Church, 2473 West Shiawassee Avenue, Fenton, MI 48430; Pastor Jim Wiegand officiating. Inurnment immediately following the service in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 10-11 AM Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Freedom Center Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to petsinperil.org or divinecaninerescue.com in Mark’s memory.

Mark was born in Flint, MI on September 23, 1959, son of the late Rev. George Eldon and Faye Novella (Bailey) Mossman. He retired from the Genesee County Sheriff's Department in 2004 after serving the community for over 25 years. In retirement, Mark served as a Genesee County Park Ranger. He enjoyed poker tournaments with his friends, being a member of the Warthogs Motorcycle Club, riding his Harley and taking care of his beloved dog, Murphy. Mark especially enjoyed being a father to his 3 children, a grandfather to his 8 grandchildren, a brother, an uncle and a friend.

Mark is survived by 3 children, Brandon (Jennifer) Mossman, Brooke (Jeremy) Pung and Ashley (David) McCann-Markham; 8 grandchildren, Parker and Blake Mossman, Gage and Fisher McCann, Everleigh Markham, Ava VanNorman, Faith and Jacob Pung; sister, Faith (Don) Keeler; 2 step-children, John (Ashley Spitz) Carr and Bailey Patterson; many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. George Eldon and Faye Novella Mossman; wife, Franni Mossman; grandson, Dylan Mossman; 2 brothers, Mike and Wayne Mossman.
