Age 81, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center. Family hour 10:00 AM Saturday, July 13, 2019 at St. James Church of God in Christ, 2229 W. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11;00 AM, Pastor Robert Smith, Host Pastor, Pastor Leroy Davis, Eulogist. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00 AM Saturday. Mr. Smith will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM Friday, with family present to receive friends from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM. Mr. Smith was Honorably Discharged from the United States Army. |
