LEAMY, Beverly Kay - age 77, of Swartz Creek, died June 27, 2023. A memorial service will be held 2 PM Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek, MI 48473. The family will receive friends from 12 PM - 2 PM Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to McLaren Hospice. Kay was born December 10, 1945 in Sikeston, MO, the daughter of Roger and Bernice (Scobey) Jones. She was a 1963 graduate of Flint Southwestern. Kay married Robert J. Leamy on February 26, 1978 in Oahu, Hawaii. She retired from General Motors Truck Plant in 1998 and they resided in Lime Tree Park, Bonita Springs, FL for 27 years. Kay loved spending time with family, going to the movies and watching murder mysteries. Surviving are: husband, Robert J. Leamy; four children, Nichole (Jeff) Baughman, Dani Walker and companion, Brooks Yates, Scott (Kayla) Leamy, and Steven (Tracy) Leamy; nine grandchildren, Riley, Logan, Katie, Megan (Kristian) Ivens, Amber (Brian) Henry, Will, Christopher, Allison, and Kelsey; sister, Kris (Ed) Gilmore; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Joan Leamy; two sisters-in-law, Diana (Gary) Terry and Chris Leamy; special friend, Joe Hutchins.
