Grand Blanc. Richard was born August 21, 1944 in Detroit, the son of William and Josephine (Polonski) Shugar. He is survived by his fiance, Gloria Berlanga; daughter, Debbie (Derrick) Hakim; daughter, Nicole Burnash; grandchildren, Gavin, Justin, Tyson, and Avery; siblings, Phyllis (James) Ross, Fred (Jean) Shugar, Marcia (Lawrence) Polyak; several nieces and nephews.
