SATKOWIAK, Kay F. - Of Grand Blanc, 79, died Thursday, May 25, 2023
at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI,
Father Leronio Vodivodi officiating.
Visitation 11am-8pm Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 11am Tuesday at the funeral home. Visitation 9am Wednesday at church until the time of the Mass.
Contributions may be made to the family.
Cremation will take place following the Mass.
Kay was born in Flint, Michigan on June 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Lena (Lown) Farner. On August 11, 1962, she married Harry M. Satkowiak and he preceded her in death on July 26, 2019.
Surviving are sons, Scott (Lori) Satkowiak of Grand Blanc, Steve Satkowiak of Las Vegas, NV, and Brian (Stephanie) Satkowiak of Clayton, NC;
Grandchildren, Jared (Pearl) Satkowiak, Carly (Andrew) Satkowiak, Chelsea Satkowiak, Zack Satkowiak, Elizabeth Satkowiak, Lauren (Mikael) Satkowiak, Sophia Satkowiak, and Matthew Satkowiak, Erica (James) Boylan;
great-grandchildren, Tauriel Schumaker and Harper Satkowiak-Hoogendoorn, Cody Boylan, Caitlyn Boylan, Brooklyn Boylan, Ethan Boylan, and Nolan Boylan;
brother, David (Karen) Farner;
sisters-in-law, Violet Winter, Marchia (Barry) Wheeler and Dianne (Don) Kasprzyk, Jean Satkowiak;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry, parents, Kenneth and Lena Farner and in-laws, Matthew and Sophie Satkowiak.
