STEVENS, Dolores Mary – of Birch Run, age 95, died Monday, October 17, 2022 at Bay Shores Nursing Care Center in Bay City, Michigan. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2022 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Dolores was born October 26, 1926 in Cheboygan, Michigan to the late Henry and Dorothy (Durocher) Sova. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and attended school there. On May 25, 1946 she married Franklin Stevens II in Flint, Michigan and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1988. Dolores was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post #7542. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and spending winters in Florida. However, her family was her greatest joy in life.
Surviving are: Children, Rhonda Sylester, Tam Burtscher, Colleen (John) Bell, Kevin (Beverly) Stevens, Renee (Clarence) Strobel, Ross (Lisa) Stevens, Paul (Chris) Stevens, Matt (Tracy) Stevens; 22 Grandchildren; 26 Great Grandchildren; 10 Great-Great Grandchildren; sister, Grace Severn. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Frank Stevens; Sons, Frank Stevens III, Mark Stevens; Son in law, Glen Sylester; Siblings, Marie Palmer, Ruby Denkins, John Sova.
