SALVATI, Silvana - Age 87, of Grand Blanc, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church 7296 Gale Rd., Grand Blanc. Fr. David Howell and Deacon Ron Kenney Celebrants. Visitation 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc and 10:00 AM until the time of Mass Wednesday at Church. A Rosary will be Recited 7:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Entombment at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in Silvana's memory would be appreciated to St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Wednesday at www.stmarkgoodrich.org or on the Facebook page for St. Mark Goodrich Catholic Church.
Silvana was born October 21, 1934 in Patrica Italy, the daughter of Eligio and Angelina (Mansueti) Evangelisti. She married Serafino "Sam" Salvati in Detroit on June 8, 1957. Silvana and Sam were the founders and Owners of Sam's Italian Restaurant in Rankin established in 1973. She was deeply devoted to her family and her restaurant.
Silvana is survived by: her son Frank (Joanne) Salvati; grandchildren, Karri (Mario) Guerena, Samantha Salvati; Daniela Heath; Alecia (David) Henderson, Stephanie (Alex Moen) Rinaldi; great grandchildren, Levi, Liam, Lucas, Lilah, Jake, Gabby, and Parker; sisters, Ercolina (Ornello) Salvati, Angie Evangelisti, and Anna (Chuck) Baffo; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Jimmy and Connie Stevenson, and Jack and Linda Wagner.
Silvana was preceded in death by: her husband, Serafino "Sam" Salvati; daughter, Catherina "Cathy" Rinaldi; and brother, Joe Evangelisti. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
