WENZEL, David Wayne – of Davison, MI, age 56, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 5 PM Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 1-5 PM Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home.
David was born in Flint, MI on February 7, 1965, son of the late Walter and Alberta “Bert” (Booker) Wenzel. He married Teresa Fantegrossi on July 20, 1985 in Flint, MI. Dave was employed as the General Sales Manager at Shea Buick in Flint, MI. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
David is survived by his wife, Teresa Wenzel; 2 children, Kelly (Jimmer Johnson) Wenzel and Katie (Matthew) Sommers; 3 grandchildren, Scarlett Wenzel, Presley Johnson and Shelby Sommers; brother, Danny Wenzel; parents-in-law, Dave and Darlene Fantegrossi; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walt and Bert Wenzel; sister, Diane (Victor) Kietzman.
