STRANG, Jill M. – Of Swartz Creek, age 70, died Thursday, March 10, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2022 at New Lothrop Nazarene Church, 7406 South Saginaw Street, New Lothrop, MI 48460, Pastor Paul Bradshaw officiating.
Private burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to New Lothrop Nazarene Church.
Visitation 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Jill will be at the church from 5:30 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
Jill was born in Flint, Michigan on November 22, 1951, the daughter of Alexander and Marjorie (Dean) Kozlowski.
She graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1969.
Jill married John Strang and was happily married for 43 years.
She was a merchandiser for 35 years and attended New Lothrop Nazarene Church.
She loved to work in her yard; she had one of the best yards in her neighborhood.
Jill was so proud and loved to watch her grandsons’ sports, music, and school activities. She was their biggest cheerleader.
Surviving are daughter, Corrie and husband Steve Jones of Flushing;
grandsons, Braydin and Reece Jones and Hank, her beloved dog.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Marjorie Kozlowski;brother, Michael Kozlowski; in-laws, Calvin and Allene Strang, and husband, John Strang.
