Butler, Dean Burnell. - Age 70, of Burton, died December 20, 2022. Visitation will be held 12-5 PM Thursday, December 22 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. No formal services will be held. Dean was born February 7, 1952 in Flint, the son of Gaylord and Hope (Minzey) Butler. He married Sheila A. Prince on November 3, 1973 in Flint. Dean worked for General Motors for 33 years before retiring in 2006. He loved nature and gardening and was very interested in history and archeology. Dean loved to keep his mind engaged by doing crossword puzzles and Sudoku. He was an avid science fiction fan of all types. Dean was devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife, Sheila; children, Kimberly McCarney, Robert (Manda) Butler, Eric (Dianne) Butler; grandchildren, Alisia, Susan, Oriana, Robert, Michael, Alexander, Paisley, Alexis, Ray, Rebekah, Noah; 2 great-grandchildren, Jamieson and Adriel; sisters, Gayla Butler, Sherry (Jerry) Allen.
