Brown, Ralph Elmer - Age 87, of Flint, died January 24, 2024. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Tuesday January 30 at Bristol United Methodist Church 5285 Van Slyke Rd. Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton Teachers Scholarship Fund. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc.
Ralph was born August 7, 1936 in Howell, Michigan the son of Ralph Fred and Elizabeth Josephine (Mero) Brown. He married Rachel Ann VanHorn in Fenton on June 9, 1962. Ralph was a teacher for 32 years with Fenton Area Public Schools.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel; children, Marsha (Tom) Bellaver of Flint, Ryan (Viola) Brown of Glen Arm, Maryland; grandchildren, Rachel Brown, Zachary Greer, and Ashley Greer; half sister, Karen Greenwood of Flint; sister-in-law, Marlene Brown of Swartz Creek.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Fred and Elizabeth Josephine Brown; brother, David Brown. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
