Finley, Edith W. Age 90, of Burton, died August 3, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to CenterPoint Church. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Tuesday, August 9 and 11AM Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Edie was born March 11, 1932 in Flint, the daughter of Charles and Cedora "Delma" (Orner) Auker. She was the last surviving Auker, and the youngest of 14 siblings. Edie was an avid Yahtzee enthusiast, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spending her winters in Florida with her late husband, Thomas. She married Thomas Dale Finley on August 8, 1959, who preceded her in death on November 26, 1994. Edie is survived by her 2 sons, Gareth Finley, Alan (Caroline) Finley; grandchildren, Kyle (Katharine) Finley, Adam Finley, Courtney M. Finley; 2 great-grandchildren; Colin and Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Ann; 13 siblings: grandson, Christopher Alan Finley. In the end, she was surrounded by those who loved her.
