Kenneth Wayne Lacey of Davison, age 68, died Sunday January 21, 2024 in Lowell Michigan. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-5 pm Thursday January 25, 2024 at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison. Those desiring may make contributions in Ken’s memory to the Huntington Disease Society of America.
Ken was born in Flint Michigan on May 31, 1955 the son of the late Fred and Doris (Larson) Lacey and has resided in the Davison area most of his life. Ken was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed NASCAR, and was a Tiger fan. Ken was passionate about sports and had coached both Hockey and Baseball. He had been employed in manufacturing in the Tool & Die Industry.
He leaves his children: Ken Lacey, and Brenda and husband Jeremy Rubel. He also leaves his
grandchildren Briar, Brena, and Mackenzie. Ken also leaves brothers Michael Lacey, Tim Lacey, the mother of his children Gail (Lacey) Hays, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by sister-in-law Kathy Lacey. The family would like to extend a special thank you to West Michigan Hospice and the staff at Lacey’s Assisted Living, especially Darcy, Jessica, Kayla, and Danielle for their care and compassion during this time.
