WILLIAMS, Lorraine - of Grand Blanc, age 72, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI with Dr. Darrell Foltz officiating. Burial follows at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Lorraine was born in Flint, MI on December 11, 1941 the daughter of the late Harvey and Grace Hittle. She was employed for 27 years by the Grand Blanc Schools as a teacher’s assistant, she also worked at the Caravan Hallmark Store in Fenton for many years. Lorraine was a longtime active member of First Baptist Church of Grand Blanc where she served as an assistant Sunday School teacher, a choir member and a deaconess. She loved her grandsons, Connor and Owen very much. She also enjoyed camping, riding her bike, writing letters and sending cards. Surviving are: her husband of 54 years, Larry Williams; sons, Randy (Cindy) Williams of Florida and Ricky (Julie) Williams; grandsons, Connor and Owen; brothers, Dale Hittle and George (Linda) Hittle and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Grand Blanc or to a scholarship fund for the grandsons. Mrs. Williams generously was a donor to the Gift of Life Program.
