Randall Wallace Johnson, also known as "Randy", "RJ", "Smurf" and "Papa", formerly of Flint, MI passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 20th 2021. He was a graduate of Flint Southwestern High School and retired after 38 years from McDonald Dairy, where he also served as UAW President. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, bird watching, grilling and watching the sunrises on Lake Huron.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 37 years, Susan L Johnson; daughter, Julie and Matt Miller; two grandchildren, Jenna and Jake Miller; brothers, Lance (Nancy) Johnson, Neil Johnson, and Wendell (Alesia) Johnson. Randy was preceded in death by father, Wallace C. Johnson and mother, Betty Lou Johnson.
Randy was a beloved member of the community and those who knew him, loved him, his sense of humor and his contagious personality. There will be a time of reflection and fellowship at noon, followed by a memorial service at 1 pm at Buresh Funeral Home, 416 Whittemore Street, Tawas City, MI 48763 on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Randy, who was also a cancer survivor. An online guest registry is available at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com
