Barbara Carol (Wolfe) Harrold, 77, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
Barb was born December 27, 1945 in Detroit, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (LeFebvre) Wolfe. She graduated from St. Francis Cabrini High School in 1964 and received her degree from Mercy School of Nursing, Ann Arbor in 1967. She married Ronald W. Harrold on August 16, 1968 in Allen Park. Barb was a nurse for over 30 years, retiring from St. Joseph Hospital in Flint. With Ron, she co-founded Harrold Developments, a residential building company. While she held her builder’s license, her forte was interior design and she enjoyed working closely with each individual client. They established three subdivisions in the Linden area and built over 200 homes. Barb had a strong belief in the value of serving her community. In the winter months, she resided on Anna Maria Island, FL, where she volunteered at Blake Hospital and Anna Maria Elementary School.
Surviving are her two children, Heather and Jeff (Mary); five grandchildren, Jason, Megan, Charlie, Sarah, and Lauren; twin brother, Tom Wolfe (Sharon), and sister Mary Pearce (Dane); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ron, parents, and brothers Denny and Dave. Barb will be remembered as an incredibly loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend.
Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Friday, October 6 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 7, with Visitation from 9-10 AM at?St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N Adelaide Street, Fenton.
