PATE, Michael Ward "Mike" - Age 52, of Burton, died Monday, August 30, 2021. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc (A live stream of the service will be available on Michael's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Michael was born December 16, 1968 in Flint, the son of Ervin and Virginia (Thacker) Pate. He had resided in the Flint and Burton area his entire life. He married Corena M. Myers July 25, 1998 in Flint. He was a self employed floor specialist for over 30 years. Michael enjoyed shooting guns, motorcycles, fast cars, playing basketball, collecting knifes, and most of all spending time with his family.
Surviving are: his wife, Corena; children, Michaela (Solo) Webb of Flint, Kristi Pate of Davison, Michael Pate II of Flint, and Andrew Pate of Flint; grandchildren, Steffan, Averie, Levi, and Lola; sisters, Betty (Steve) Mince of Durand, Cindi Pate of Durand, and Beckie Jackson of Tennessee; brother, Ken (Connie) Pate of Mt. Morris; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Wayne and Billy Pate. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
