Joan M. Trouten of Burton age 75 died Monday November 30, 2020. Family will receive visitors from 2:00pm-4:00pm Thursday December 3, 2020 at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison. Due to CDC Guidelines social distancing and limited amount of visitors at one time are being followed. The family would like you to join them but understands you may or may not at this time and respects your decisions. Those desiring to make contributions on Joan memory can make them to Michael J. Joan was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 24, 1945 the daughter of the late Grayland and Marion (Jerkins) Larsen. Joan was joined in marriage to Ross Scott Trouten on August 1, 1970 in Flint, Michigan and he preceded her in death July 19, 2013. Joan was member of First Presbyterian Church of Flint, Sons of Norway, Flint Institute of Art, Pen Pal’s of England and Norway, she was an avid collector of the American Indian and Spanish Heritage. Joan was a teacher for many years in Genesee County.
Joan is survived by her children: Ross David Trouten, Stephan Grayland (Jacob Lloyd) Trouten, and Thomas Robert Trouten; grandchildren: Liam Trouten, and Graysen Trouten; brother: William (Shirley) Larsen.
