SULLIVAN, Dorann "Sue" Eunice, age 79, of Flint, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Durand Senior Care. A memorial service will take place 1:30 PM, Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Prior to the memorial a memorial gathering will take place from 11:30 AM until the time of service on Sunday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
Sue was born on October 6, 1944 in Flint the daughter of the late Steve and Eunice (Eastridge) Malinich. She attended Dye Schools and received her diploma from Carman-Ainsworth High School. Sue and James "Jim" Sullivan were united in marriage on December 29, 1961 in Mt. Morris. She was devoted to her family and her faith. Sue enjoyed the church and helping with various activities. She enjoyed playing BINGO, watching birds, gardening flowers, crafting, fishing and crocheting.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Jim Sullivan; children, John (Ande) Sullivan, Terrie Cavaness, Scott Sullivan and Kathleen (Adam) Davies; stepdaughter, Jamie Brank; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Cadance Sullivan; and siblings, Velma Brown, Vickie Bednarski and Steve Malinich.
