McArthur, Yvonne Charlene of Burton, age 92, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Regency of Grand Blanc. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2017, at Flushing Presbyterian Church with Rev. Teresa Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Rossell Funeral Home.
Yvonne was born on July 3, 1924 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of James and Agatha (Bowman) Anderson. She married Donald J. McArthur on February 20, 1945 in Flint, Michigan. She was a member of Flushing Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, and is a past Deacon and Elder at the church. She worked on the Flushing Election Board for many years, and she also enjoyed bowling.
Yvonne is survived by four children, Sue and husband Nelson Basner of Ohio, Larry McArthur of Davison, Tim and wife Becky McArthur of Houghton Lake, Greg and wife Jean McArthur of Grand Rapids; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don and sons, Scott and David. |
