KOORY, Charles J. - Of Grand Blanc, age 78, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Father Joseph Abud officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 3-9pm Wednesday and 11am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. A Trisagion Service will be held 8pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or any local charity pertaining to animals or children.
Charles was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 6, 1944, the son of the late Frank and Julia (Joseph) Koory. He was the owner and operator of The Print Shop of Flint retiring in 2014. Charles was a member of St. George Orthodox Church.
Surviving are wife, Linda;
Son, Michael (Robin) Koory;
Daughter, Karen Koory;
Step-daughters, Meghann (Ben) Cashwell and Maura (Aaron Zeitner) McVey;
Grandchildren, Avreil (Zachary) Markham, Ambrei and fiance, Samuel, Travers, Maura, Adelyn and Axel;
Great-grandson, William Markham;
Brother, Robert (Diane) Koory;
Sisters-in-law, Colleen (Brent) Diedrich, Connie Crawford, Christine (Wayne) Burns, Mary (Barclay) Lavengood.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Franklin Koory, nephew, John Koory, brother-in-law, William (Rodney) Crawford, niece, Cortney Primeau and nephew, Douglas Brugger.
