BLACKMER, Kalvin- of Clio, age 54, died Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Kalvin was born April 11, 1968, in Lapeer, to the late Connie Ostrander. On July 28, 2017, Kalvin married the love of his life, Kristy Hicks, and together they raised three beautiful children, Macie, Damien and Alisha. Kalvin loved his family and was a dedicated worker who would do anything to provide for the ones he loved. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it be fishing, camping in the woods, or simply relaxing on the beach with his family. Kalvin had a green thumb and loved to grow his plants, often showing them off to any and everyone. Above all, he was an incredible husband, father, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Kalvin is forever loved by his wife, Kristy Blackmer; Children: Macie, Damien, and Alisha; Sisters: Melinda Nagle and Robin Blackmer; Beloved furry companions: Rocky and Bella. Kalvin is preceded in death by his mother, Connie Ostrander and brother, LeRoy Blackmer. |
