RUCKER, William - Of Grand Blanc, age 75, died Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be held 11am Friday, January 28, 2022 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Visitation 12-3pm and 5-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 10am Friday at church until the time of the Mass.
William was born in Flint, Michigan on June 29, 1946 the son of the late Charles and Mildred Rucker. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for many years. On August 13, 1964, he married Karen Mobilio at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and she preceded him in death in 2019. William loved to go camping, snowmobiling, classic cars and NASCAR. Above all else, William enjoyed being with his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters, Renae Jewell and husband Dwayne and Stacie and husband Larry Tadajewski;
grandchildren, Haley, Noah, Madison, Morgan, Megan;
mother-in-law, Joyce Mobilio;
sister-in-law, Cheryl and husband Lou Cantin;
sister-in-law, Dawn Mobilio;
nephews;
and close friends, Prudy and Bob, Barry and Alyce and many others.
He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ralph and father-in-law, Ralph Mobilio.
