DIGARD, Stanley John "Jack" - Age 92, of Swartz Creek, passed away October 15, 2024 at the beautiful Meadows of Owosso. Stanley was born January 22, 1932 in Flint, the son of Samuel Arthur and Ruby Ellen (Bower) Digard. He married Phyllis Kline and had his first child, Jacqueline in 1953. After Phyllis died from Polio, he married Virginia Webb, a brilliant school teacher, in Hale, MI. They had two sons, Samuel and Jeffrey. Jack built many homes in Flint and Grand Blanc. He also rehabbed many homes while working at General Motors. He retired from General Motors in 1983 after 31 years of service. Following retirement, Jack and Virginia began to spend winters in Sun City, AZ and he built a beautiful home there. He was also a pilot and restored many antique automobiles. Jack was truly a "Jack of All Trades". He is survived by his children, Jacqueline McGuire, Samuel Digard and Jeffrey Digard; three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia on August 14, 2020; sister, Joanne Dernberger and brother, Richard Digard. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
