LEMIEUX, Francis H. "Frank" – of Clio, age 80, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, September 18, 2026. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at SS. Charles and Helena Catholic Church – 230 E. Vienna St. in Clio. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Coughlin officiating. Military honors will be conducted following Mass. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 4PM until 7PM, and at the church on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of Mass at 11AM. Cremation will follow. A Rosary will be prayed at 6PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Francis was born on November 30, 1945, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Lawrence and Anna (LaFave) LeMieux. He graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1964, then began his career at Buick City. Frank joined the U.S. Navy in 1965 where he was proud to honorably serve his country until his discharge from service in 1969. After his time in the Navy, he returned to Buick and later continued his career with EDS, retiring in 2005 as a Systems Architect. From 2012 until 2016 he served as a Vienna Township Trustee. Frank was a faithful member of SS. Charles and Helena Catholic Church since 1976. He loved helping others in any way he could, including working on home renovation projects with his friends. He also enjoyed tinkering with computers, watching boat traffic along the Saginaw River in Bay City, and the company of his cat, Buddy.
Surviving are his brother, Louis (Sandra) LeMieux, and their daughters, Kristine (Doug) Parkinson and Valerie LeMieux (Ron Nemeth); and the children of his late sister, Erma Poisson: Michael, Marianne, Milissa, Margaret, Matthew, and Marsha, along with their families.
