SMITH, Hallie Josephine - Of Flint, age 88, died Friday, July 21, 2023 at The Oaks at Woodfield.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 11am Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Hallie was born in Giles County, Virginia on April 15, 1935, the daughter of the late William Hobart and Josie Kathryn (Reed) Dunn. She married Lewis B. Smith in Flint. Hallie enjoyed bowling, bingo, Yahtzee, puzzles and the Detroit Tigers.
Surviving are daughter, Lisa Davis, granddaughters, Deonna Schraft (Nathan), Heather McCracken (Joseph), and Ciara Davis (Brittany);
daughter, Lori Noblin, granddaughters, Carly Noblin, Taylor Fletcher (Eddie) and Hallie Noblin;
son, Lony Smith (Stephanie), grandsons, Brandon Smith, Austin Smith, Zachory Smith and Joshua Smith;
great-grandchildren, Gannon, Harper, Bailey and Theodore;
sister, Norma Jean Jones;
special cousin, Larry Wilson;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis B. Smith, brother, Hobart Kyle “Sonny” Dunn, sister, Ervil Law, son-in-law, Robert Noblin.
