William W. Fenton, Sr. of Deltona, Florida, formerly of Flint, Michigan, died Saturday, May 1, 2022. Funeral service will be 12 noon on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Joshua Gates will officiate. Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
Bill was born in Flint, Michigan on January 12, 1932 to Ray and Ruth (Robinson) Fenton. He was a proud Army veteran, serving in the Korean War from 1951-1953. Bill retired from a career at General Motors after 31 years. In his free time he really enjoyed playing cards.
Bill is survived by his sons, William Fenton, Jr. and Rod (Sarah) Fenton; grandchildren, Christopher Fenton, Corey Sanders, Deanna Mangrum, and Harley Minarik; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Jane and Shirley Ann. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Bethel Burbank; children, Bradley Fenton, Douglas Fenton, and Brenda Minarik; six siblings; and his parents. |
