JOHNSON, Joe N. – of Flint, age 76, passed away on May 16, 2023 at his residence. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County, in Joe’s memory.
Joe was born in Marquette, MI on June 1, 1946, son of the late Eino and Lillian (Korpi) Johnson. He married Kathleen Emigh on September 26, 1997. Joe proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. He retired as a tinsmith from AC Spark Plug in 1997. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed golfing, being a pilot, and classic muscle cars. Most of all, Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his wife, Kathy; children, Stephen Johnson, Cheryl Johnson, Wendy Madden, Joseph (Amanda) Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, and Amanda (Tom) DuBuc; grandchildren, Thomas, Byron, Justin, Corey, Paige, Payton, Lily, Brody, Daisy, and Casey; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Gladys and Dorothy; many other loving family members and friends.
