LEACH, Michael L. – of Mt. Morris, age 67, died on Friday, April 16, 2021 at his residence, with family by his side. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 4PM until 8PM. Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people are allowed in our chapel at one time and masks are required. Private family funeral services will be held to keep within the guidelines. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.
Mike was born November 11, 1953 in Flint, Michigan to the late Clifford and Josephine (Morse) Leach. He attended Mt. Morris schools. Mike spent 26 years with Shirley Coulter before the two were married on May 19, 2019. He was employed with Out Front as a billboard poster for 38 years before retiring in 2014. Mike enjoyed drag racing, riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, hunting, and camping. He also enjoyed building things and welding. Above all, Mike loved spending time with his grandchildren and nephews.
Surviving are: Loving wife, Shirley Leach; Stepdaughters: Dawn (Steve) Swisher, and Regina Coulter (Fiancé Joel Phillips); Grandchildren: Tabitha (Justin) Campbell, Sabrina Swisher, Austin Kellaway, Nathan Coulter, Jeremiah Swisher, and Jacob Swisher; Great grandchildren: Sophia Kellaway, and Carson Campbell; Siblings: Richard (Bev) Leach, Chris (Hugh) Sperling, Brian (Mona) Leach, Ted Leach, and Pat Jordan; Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other loving family members and dear friends. Mike was also preceded in death by: Siblings: Gary Leach, Bruce Leach, Carolyn Lafayette, and Roger Topin; Beloved dog, Scrappy-Doo.
