Karen Ann Husocki, age 58, of Grand Blanc, MI left us for a coveted spot in our Lords Veterinary Clinic in the clouds. She was encompassed by those who loved her most, in the early morning of May 5, 2022 at 3:47 from complications due to the Covid-19 virus at Ascension Genesys Hospital of Grand Blanc MI.
Karen graduated in 1981 from Grand Blanc High School. After graduation she was employed by Eldon Auker Associates of Grand Blanc Twp, where her love of chocolate became legendary. The guys would bring her chocolate to stay on her good side.
She earned her Associates in Applied Science for Electrical engineering at C.S. Mott Community College. She advanced her knowledge in her chosen field of Veterinary Medicine by receiving her Associates in Applied Science and certification as a Veterinary Technician from Baker College. After retiring from her tech work, she became a parts specialist for XPO Logistics; a company affiliated with GM.
Karen so loved all animals we are not intending to disrespect or hurt anyone. Having said that, Karen was preceded by her cat Scooter, cat Nermal, cat Mrs. P., cat QT (Qoot Qoot), cat Weeble, her beloved dog TAZZY and her dog KONA. She is survived by cat Hanna (Hanner Nanner), and finally cat Sir Lancelot Sweets.
The two legged people who will be there to greet her; Brother Larie Foster II, step-father Leonard Noyes, maternal grandparents Lynes (Sylvia) Eaker, paternal grandparents John (Rosie) Foster, Deloris (Lawrence) Stanfill Aunt & Uncle, Loyd (Gloria), Uncle & Aunt, Juanita McCall grandmother.
Karen is survived by the lights of her heart; her daughters Jessica (Patrick) and Rachel “Asher”(Kelly), her loving mother Shirley Noyes, proud father Larie Foster and wife Kathy, Mae (Elmer) Vernon Aunt and Uncle, LaDonna (Terry) Hannula cousins, Karen’s Aunt and her father’s sister Wyvetta (her husband Arthur who has passed) , Daughters father, Steven Braden, Step-siblings, Robert Crossen, Leonard II (Beverly) Noyes, Daniel “Dan” Noyes, Vance (Susan) Helzer, Michelle (Patrick – “P.J.”) Ahearn, and her husband Joseph Donald Husocki. Mom and Dad Sharon (William)Wyatt, sister Shelley Cook, sister Pam Alfaro, nephew Erik, brother and sister Jeff (Crissy)Stuck, brother and sister Donald (Dawn) Crane, Father and Mother of heart Juke (Karen passed) Turkovics, siblings of the heart and officiate Barry “Turk” his wife Lisa Turkovics, Gina “Gigi”(Dave) Herron.
Visitation will be held at Swartz Funeral Home located at 1225 West Hill Road Flint, MI 48507 on Tuesday, May 10th. She will be honored by immediate family at 9am. All others may join after 11am and remain till close at 8pm.
Funeral Ceremony will begin at 10am on Wednesday, May 11th with doors opening at 9am. Immediately after ceremony she will be taken to Crestwood Cemetery located 2020 E Hill Rd. Grand Blanc Twp. MI. 48439.
Following the burial service the family would love the presence of your company for food and fellowship at the Faternal Order of Eagles veterans’ hall located 3317 E Bristol Rd. Burton, MI 48529.
